The National Pharmaceutical Machinery Expo was first held in 1991. It was organized by the China Pharmaceutical Equipment Industry Association in 1993. In 2001, Beijing Jingboxin Exhibition Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the association, was responsible for the hosting and operation of the Pharmaceutical Machinery Expo. In 2008, the Ministry of Commerce approved the concurrent holding of the China International Pharmaceutical Machinery Expo. Pharmaceutical Machinery Expo. Since 2004, the Pharmaceutical Machinery Expo has been listed as one of the key exhibitions supported by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China for many consecutive years. In recent years, each exhibition area has exceeded 150,000 square meters, covering preparation machinery, API machinery, pharmaceutical packaging machinery, testing & laboratory equipment, pharmaceutical water and gas equipment, engineering purification and environmental protection equipment, medicinal crushing equipment, and decoction pieces. In nine major sections, including equipment, other pharmaceutical machinery and equipment, more than 1,400 exhibitors from nearly 30 countries and regions brought more than 10,000 sets of the latest equipment to the exhibition, attracting nearly 80,000 professional visitors to the site for exchanges and discussions.
